It is eclipse season once again! The Lunar nodes have been on the Virgo, South Node and Pisces North Node axis since Jan. 11th 2025. This eclipse will be near the South Node in Virgo, completing our refinement and learning about worry, perfectionism and effort until the next round in 2043! The blood red full moon will be visible in Hawaii around 1:30am Tuesday 3/3 if you dare! 

With the North Node in Pisces pointing the way to our future and spiritual focus for growth, we are deep in the surrender of "not knowing" and trusting, having faith that something larger is going on here. The Nodes shift to Leo South Node with Aquarius North Node on July 26th of this year where they will remain until 3/26/2028. This shift will continue to usher in the Aquarian age of community minded focus and friendship. We will widen to get a broader perspective that is focused on humanity and the future.

We have a few more months to dance the Virgo-Pisces axis of relaxed effort! How do we trust and let go while paying attention and serving? This is living astrology, it is our opportunity for evolutionary growth both personally and collectively. Settle down Virgo analysis... letʻs find the flow and go with it!

Now for some Astro Weather reporting about the Big Saturn and Neptune Conjunction!

Planet Saturn, Kronos, father time and nebulous Neptune, the planet of dreams, just entered Aries. Grounded Saturn can help dreamer Neptune anchor new vision, new worlds, new beginnings. This rare event at the 0° starting point of the zodiac is where they met up on 2/20/26. Some say it has never happened before, some say it was 6000 years ago. 

Is Aries war? It definitely has something worth fighting for on its mind. Scan out further, big picture now, I see dictators and evil empires. I witnessed the fall of democracy and our supposed “free country”. 

Does the fire go out? If the candle stays lit, the hearth fire of the heart keeps on loving, grieving because we love so deeply, and we continue. 

The Aquarian age? Pluto is definitely at work here in this sign demanding we take the higher road to what’s next. Who is your neighbor? How do we care and support each other through these inner and outer wars? Neptune is in Aries for the next 13 years, Saturn for 2. Can we keep warm with one another or will it all burn down?

I have a wood-burning stove and chilly nights in Honokaʻa have me sipping tea with roaring flames warming my feet and legs. My precious pup Hermes, messenger of the gods, is nearby reassuring me I am not alone. We are showing up anyway… with courage to kindle the heart with loving intentions for those near and far. 

Can I take the time to light a candle for those girls in Iran who died? Do I dare utter gratitude that a despicable leader who tortured many is now dead? How does love keep winning in the midst of all this?

I love this world too much to want to leave and yet I want to be so in service to love that there is nothing left of me but rampant self shattering love. I want everything but love to burn to ash. Want everything but love to be blown away like dross, like chaff. Want all that is left of me to be this feral heart still open, though it seems it couldn’t possibly break open anymore, yet I marvel at is it opens again, again into, how is it possible, more love?

Rosemarie seems to understand… To feel it all seems necessary and yet so painful. My heart keeps shattering and then breaking open more. No one told me life would be like this. I want to believe fully that all this is love having its way. Is there any other way around it? 

So we show up in all the ways that matter…for ourselves, for our families and friends, for our communities and nation. We keep on and that flicker of a light, initiating fire that Aries brings, will deepen as spring returns once again, like it always does, on March 20 for those of us here in the northern hemisphere.  

We begin again, we never let the flame extinguish through it all. We become that initiating fire of a new world as the old world collapses, the ashes at our feet, we begin again and again for loves sake.
