Chris Brennan from the Astrology Podcast just did a long interview with Jason about Experiential Astrology which you can view here as well. It is well worth the watch!
As I embody with feeling the impulses of the planetary shifts of 2025, I sense a belonging here in my body, on this island and here on this emerald planet. These are challenging times. My mentor Francis Weller recently shared the medicine needed to get through this long dark, this time of unknowing when it seems everything is crumbling. He described this soul medicine needed
during these vulnerable times.
- Robust friendships and community - We need places of safety where life endures. We need belonging.
- Developing imagination - We can allow ourselves to be reimagined in the dark. We can wait expectantly for something creative to burst forth. We can be part tree, bird, mountain or
sky...we can sing.
- Remembering our deep ancestral inheritance - we can commune with ancestors who set the trail on the ground for us with primary satisfactions such as the sharing meals, watching sunsets and being simple with our needs.
I continue to offering
astrological counseling and energy healing sessions with an emphasis on finding a sense of belonging and following cycles that help one ground. I encourage expression of both grief and gratitude and include rituals of renewal and release. My healing hale in Honoka'a is a haven a safety to all who enter as well as is my zoom room. Classes are still ongoing with Sacred Path Healing school as well for those who want a deep dive into life long healing skills.
Keeping compassion flowing while trying some new things will take some trust. Courage is fear walking they say. I have been reflecting on
sacred activism and bringing in "Music as Medicine" to my local community, planting a garden and deepening my solitude practices. I listen to the planets and stars, I talk to trees and the ocean with all her amazing creatures. You can too, just ask!
May you find your people and know you are safe and loved regardless of the external
circumstances of these challenges we face. Letʻs keep resting on mother earth to know we belong here in this moment in time.
I send all my love and aloha,
Kauakea
