Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces

Here we are with our first eclipse in Pisces as the Lunar Nodes are about change signs from Aries/Libra into Virgo/Pisces in January. Eclipses take place when the new or full moon are near the Lunar Nodes. The dragon head and tail, as they are also known, change signs every 18 months or so. The North Node, pointing to the new direction of growth has been in Aries since July of 2023 with South Node of the past in Libra. The lessons have been around finding our own individuation and letting go of co-dependencies. On January 11th, 2025 the Node Node will enter Pisces at the 29th degree with South Node in Virgo at the same end degree. With Neptune completing its 14 year journey in the sign of Pisces, this eclipse, as well as the start of 2025, will be deeply influenced by this dissolver of old life patterns. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and wants universal love. The North Node and Neptune conjoin on Feb 6th, 2025 for a deeply mystical start to the Lunar new year as we enter the Chinese year of the Snake. Linear focus will be diffused and dreams are important to notice. Imagination is very important at this time. May we imagine a beautiful world. Neptune has been on my mind a lot these days. For 14 years this nebulous planet of dreams has been passing through the star constellation of Pisces. Watery slippery Pisces has us all wondering "what is true and what is a lie?". What is the power of imagination? Like an eel on the slippery bottom of the ocean I’ve been swimming along and waiting. Waiting to see how this part of humanities story will play out. The big stage where everyone is watching a bully and a bright articulate woman volley for a position of power. Power that could shape shift the world. Neptune, my friend, what is the illusion and can we possibly imagine something beyond our wildest dreams?

It will be more beautiful than you could ever imagine...sings Lyndsey Scott while I let go of the fear mongering consciousness that believes the patriarchy always wins. Can we imagine that together? Letʻs try as Neptune completes its 14 year journey in a sign that dissolves all that is unnecessary. Neptune finally enters Aries on March 30 next year, then Saturn leaves Pisces too and also sparks new life, new beginnings. We all are looking ahead to what will come. I see sparks flying! I hear messages that say keep your imagination alive with promises and hope. Dreams are what Neptune provides, both day and night dreams. They say the earth dreams through us if we let her. Can we let the earth dream through us so that we could imagine a new way? A world with reverence, respect and belonging that lets go of consumeristic greed? A place where being connected and embodied, in loving presence, honoring the elements, shape shifts us into servants of the land?

I get little whispers that it is possible. Are the children safe? Are the women cared for? Mahalo Kalani Souza..his words. Slowing down to allow a new way to unfold. I am all in.

In another country, Scotland, I was with a group of Europeans, who were dissing Americans. I was the only American in the group of 10 to 12 people. I spoke up after listening to their complaints. Well… maybe Americans are like a kid in a candy store. We will just eat until we vomit and finally know it is just not working. Have we gotten sick enough? Cries from just about everyone I know include a lot of digestive disorders and anxieties. Will the shifts come where we choose life sustaining actions that heal ourselves and mend our precious planet?

Electrifying and awakening Uranus leaves earthy Taurus after 7 years in July 2025 signaling the further shift out of Water and Earth signs that long for stability and security into Air and Fire signs. Air and Fire signs are full of action and passion! Uranus moves into Gemini then until 2032! Get ready writers and poets! Our time is coming! So much that needs to be said and communicated for the wake up call to be fully engaged. We are waking up and it is about time! Tell me please, dear Goddess is it your time? Castor and Pollux, the twins have questions. They are curious if we have collectively reached that point of critical mass for loves calling. How can this love reach the hearts of those who would still choose to oppress? I long for a peaceful world were all us weirdos, we unusual ones, we who have our songs to sing and artistic dreams to pursue, can rise into a shared maturity to create a better world. 

On a personal note this particular lunar eclipse is exactly opposite my Sun/Mercury in Virgo at 25 degrees. Yes, I will be swimming tomorrow on my birthday!!! ... Pisces invitation is always towards the water! Transiting Uranus is also opposite my natal Jupiter in Scorpio so this yoga stretch is mighty strong!!! I am in a huge shifting cycle as this eclipse is on my solar return today.
