New Moon in Virgo with a Kite! ♍ Sept. 14th

September 14th brings the New Moon in Virgo the day before Mercury goes direct. The new moon makes a kite aspect with earth trines to Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus which sextile Neptune in late degree Pisces.

This could lead to some grounding of our dreams into the practical world. Virgo keeps track of all those details, while Neptune in its own sign of Pisces moves fluidly through any obstacle, like water.

Meanwhile we are in a major retrograde cycle with all the outer planets in Rx, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus as well as social planets Saturn and Jupiter. I know I have been having major flashbacks of clear visual memories. How about you?

Mercury went retrograde on the day the Sun entered Virgo, Sept. 23rd. at 21 degrees Virgo. This is the same degree of our new moon! Mercury will be at 8 degrees on Sept. 15th when it stations direct and return to the degree it went retrograde on Sept. 29th, at long last out of the shadow. These degree points are mentioned for those of you who track your own chart with these transits. To learn how to do this, book a reading or take my class. Main point is to stay out of Virgo jail and not be too hard on yourself or one another. The retrogrades ask us to be reflective, reassess the past and reconsider our future. Writing and reflection are needed. I urge you to make new moon intentions and wishes and share them with a friend.

It is also worth mentioning that Eris, Goddess of discord is conjoined with the North Node at 25 degrees in Aries asking that we let go to our wild nature. Chiron is nearby at 18 degrees Aries so it might be a good time to redefine what the healing power of 'Wild' means to you. Natural law is wild, there is something very alive in the WILD that we all need now. "You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves" says poet Mary Oliver.

South node in Libra is conjoined Ceres, asteroid of nurturing. Who are your nurturing companions on this road of life?

Venus is now out of retrograde and is conjoined to Juno, the Goddess of meaningful partnerships in the sign of Leo. 40 days of reflection hopefully has given us time to rediscover love in new ways as we deepen into the heart.
